{ in the beginning }

Michael, Joseph, and Lucy, tired of the busy lifestyle of Atlanta, packed up their belongings and headed for the white sandy beaches of the Emerald Coast in Florida. Living near the beach and smelling the sea air was a dream come true ... but what would we do for work?

Long time "junkers", we began going to estate sales and buying "junque" that we could make into treasures. We stored our treasures in a rented shed and opened it up on Fridays and Saturdays for other "scavengers" to come by and see what we had restored.

Soon, we couldn't keep up with demand, so good-bye resting on the beach and hello roaming around day and night looking for good stuff for our "scavengers" to buy. We added another shed, and then another, and then yet another. By the time we left the sheds, we were open for business from Thursday thru Sunday, 11am to 4pm.

Word had spread fast and we couldn't beat em off with a stick!

We bought a 7,500 sq ft building just down the road and were now open 7 days a week 10am to 5pm with 5 employees. A few years later, we had sold our buliding and rented another while we were building our upcoming new home of almost 20,000 sq ft. This new home opened in july of 07 is now our Santa Rosa Beach store, and in the works is our Panama City Beach store! We are very proud of our success and couldnt have done it without the incredible people who have become true "scavengers".
